Executive Director, Jason Shankle

Jason Shankle is the CEO/Founder of the private therapy practice Inner Self and Wisdom. He loves to walk in his purpose of helping individuals, couples, families, and the Black Community. He is also the owner of Book King Publishing, Inc., Foundations of Trauma Affiliate Professor at Metro State University of Denver and Black Psychology professor at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal.

Vice Chair, Jessica Newton

In 2016, Jessica Newton founded Vibe Tribe Adventures (VTA), a Colorado-based organization dedicated to promoting outdoor recreation and adventure sports for underserved communities. VTA's mission is to reconnect urban youth with nature through experiential programs like Urban Trekkers, which fosters leadership and environmental literacy while aligning with state learning standards. Jessica's commitment to breaking down barriers in the outdoor industry is evident in her advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Appointed to the Office of Sustainability Advisory Council by Denver's Mayor and recognized with multiple awards, she continues to mentor youth of color in nature-related careers, aiming to expand VTA's impact. Outside of her work, Jessica enjoys family time by the lake with her fiancé and two children.

Chairman, Myles Johnson

Myles S. Johnson is an attorney at Johnson Law Group, LLC and helps clients address Family Law legal issues. He also assists clients regarding Criminal Defense, Criminal Defense: DUI / DWI and Contract Reviews, Estate Planning & Probate issues.

Rising Stars is a designation of top-rated practicing attorneys selected through extensive evaluation. He was awarded this distinction for 2018 - 2023.

Myles Johnson graduated in 2013 from University of Colorado Law School. Myles Johnson was admitted to practice law in 2013. He represents clients in the Denver area.

Drea is the owner and founder of Tip Tap Grow Performing Arts School in Eugene, Oregon. She possesses a passion and work ethic that is unmatched, brings professionalism, confidence and energy into every room she walks in, and exudes her natural talent and abilities in every project she executes.

Drea has served on boards for nonprofits like Daisy CHAIN (vice president), Xcape Dance Company (president), and other organizations such as the Advisory Committee for Early Childhood Education at Lane Community College and the Early Learning Hub of Lane County stakeholders. Through her service she has learned to build nonprofit boards from the ground up, create, assess and implement policies and procedures, plan and execute events, and curate requests for funding.

Mr. Patrick Shankle has been a part of the Brooks& Davis team since 2008 when the company formed. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration 
Degree in Accounting. He has also completed his Masters degree in Accounting at Prairie View A&M University. He is an active member of the Houston Association of Realtors. He is an advocate for mental health awareness. He volunteers at the Houston Human Society for  dogs as he has a passion for animals. He is passionate about ensuring education is accessible to all, and he demonstrate this through his dedicated work with students with special needs. He is here as an educator to make ownership a reality for all.
